Gundam Assemble Miniature Gaming Set Releasing July 2025

Gundam Assemble Miniature Gaming Set Releasing July 2025

Bandai has announced a new table top miniature game titled, Gundam Assemble, during the Bandai Card Games Fest World Tour in Orlando. Set to release in July 2025, it allows 'players to enjoy scenarios that follow the original story, or diverge into situations that transcend the world of Mobile Suit Gundam series'. Information about how the game is played as well as a UK release date are also still under wraps however you can also check out the official website as well as the teaser trailer below to see the game in action.

It will feature approximately 2 inch (5cm) gunpla miniatures that will need to be assembled and painted, much like Warhammer, to then do battle against other players. Each unit will have unique stats and abilities to allow players to enjoy stories and memorable battles from the original shows.

So what miniatures have been revealed? Everything from the classic shows like the RX-78-2 to newer series like the Aerial from The Witch From Mercury have been announced as well as Wing Zero, Zaku 2, Unicorn, Kapool, White Base, Rising Freedom Gundam, the list goes on!

While the official rules and information about the game are still scarce, we also know that Gundam Assemble can also be played in conjunction with Gundam Card Game, the TCG (Trading Card Game) that was announced late last year. They will offer 8 starter sets in total, 4 of which will include a few miniatures. How each game is involved with one another is still a mystery but it’s clear that Bandai are giving their fans the freedom of how they want to play these games.

With these recent announcements of GCG and now Gundam Assemble, it’s clear that Bandai are entering these markets to further promote their franchises to exisiting fans of other TCG and table top miniature gaming (such as Warhammer). So far the response has been overwhelmingly positive so we can’t wait to see how it all unfolds later this year.

You can stay up to date with Gundam Assemble through the official website as well as the official social channels. We’ve yet to see a release date for the UK however we’re confident it’ll also release this year soon after other markets.

Ok but is there going to be a prerelease sale so I know I’ll have them on that date or just hope if and when they come to my local gaming store I can get them?
